Let me share with you what I think clowning is all about.
For me Clowning is Laughter. Clowns are funny. I make children laugh- sometime harder than they have ever laughed before. When you hire me that is what you can expect, lots of laughs.
You might think my definition is obvious. But for many Party Performers working today laughter is not what they do. They may face paint, do magic, make balloons, play games, or even make cotton candy, but they are not funny.
I have seen and worked with many clowns around world. Many are very funny. But, Birthday Performers often are not. I don't know why. I don't know what they think clowns are. I don't know how they think a clown should affect their audience, but if you plan on hiring a clown that is not me be sure to ask them! Their answer might not be what you want at your party.
Some services fill your needs, others do not. Some services you purchase others you pay for.
If you are spending money on a performer you deserve a great performer, not a boring cornball. I am a real clown. I have been a clown for 13 years. I have won awards for my clowning. I have performed around the world. I know what makes kids laugh.
